Our Story

A Family Recipe Since 1982

Thai House has been a family kitchen for more than forty years — the first Thai restaurant in Redlands, still run by the people who opened it. Every dish is cooked to order from recipes handed down through the family, never rushed and never sitting under a heat lamp.

It's as much a place as a menu: a historic house dressed like a small museum, opening onto a lantern-lit garden built around a hand-carved fountain. There's a story behind every corner of it.

I had a dinner date with my fiancé. We were seated next to the little water fountain under the trees in the back garden. The service was exceptional, the food delicious and so fresh! We ordered the appetizer sampler, spicy shrimp salad and Larb with chicken plus two mojitos — everything brought out quickly, fresh and tasty. The prices were great. I will definitely be coming back.
